Welp… Wednesday I am starting a lifestyle change. Basically I will be changing my gym routine and eating habits completely. Why? Because – the reality is, on my bucket list I always said I wanted to have a body that I was 100% comfortable with. What better time than for my 30th birthday (Lord help us all…30… three. zero. 3 x’s 10…3, 10’s.. ughhhhhhhhh thirrrrrrrrtyyyyyyyyyy yearsssssss oldddd) to have that body? When would I get that body? The freakin time is now. And I’m doing it. Because no one is doing it for me so it’s my decision. DOING IT – No excuses. I am going to blog about it. I am going to post before, during and after photos. I found an amazing plan online from Jamie Eason. She is gorgeous and fit and ridiculously smart. Medical issues run all kinds of deep in my family. Heart disease, cancer, diabetes and I don’t want to fall victim to anything I can remotely control. I was talking to one of my girlfriends tonight on the phone and we talked about this particular meal plan, and workout. It looks so legit. She and I are both going to do it.
I’ve always been a healthy eater for the most part. As I have gotten older, I’ve gotten more strict. I eat some gluten free stuff now, lots of veggies, quinoa and couscous etc.. but never have I truly followed a strict meal plan or workout plan other than when I was heavily competing in pageants and those diets were CRAY. No carbs after 3pm, 3oz of chicken and 2oz of broccoli etc.. it was small portions and I weighed 100lbs and there was NO muscle. Skin and bones. NO thanks. I’m excited for this new fitness journey and I hope you will follow my progress to help keep me accountable and motivated. We all need each other, right?
