Man! Do I have a delish recipe for you! I made these protein pancakes last saturday and they are seriously amazing. AND FREAKING EASY!
what you need:
- peanut butter
- pancake batter
- 1 egg
- old-fashioned oats
- in a large mixing bowl, mash 1 banana
- add in 1 cup of oats OR if your batter becomes too runny just add a few more little scoops of oats. (*did you know there is 5 grams of protein in 1 cup!?)
- add water depending on what your pancake batter calls for
- add 1 egg
- a few pinches of cinnamon (I prefer to eyeball mine)
- add your pancake batter
make sure you mix well. If it’s too runny, add more oats or pancake mix.
cook your pancakes… and enjoy. I added a little peanut butter and banana to the top of mine and sugar-free lite syrup.
